Hi John,

I have a Catana 42S catamaran thaa I bring from Florida east coast, Ft Pierce, to Cotuit starting just after mid May and am looking for crew as one of my regulars will not make it this year. It usually takes 10 days though we did it in less than 8 one year. We go out into gulf stream and then eel off to go in at cape Fear or Moorehead city and take the ICW to avoid Cape Hatteras, then out at Norfolk hopefully to BI or the Vineyard or directly to CCotuit where the boat summers except for trips with BWSC to MAine and southern waters cruises.

Please give e a call if you are interested. 781 718 7216 Fred Kern, Past Commodore

Looking for able crew for offshore racing? Planning on entering Marion to Bermuda 2021?

Well look no further!

My name is John Nosach and I'd like the opportunity to talk with you about joining your team.

I've been sailing for over 20 years, mostly in and around Narragansett Bay and the waters of southern New England. Along with my wife I’ve owned three boats, our latest a 34' catamaran. (our first multihiull) I have raced around the buoys for several years as crew in Narragansett Bay, and last year crewed aboard Defiant, a Tartan 34 in the Beverly Yacht Club Wednesday night series. I have completed one 40 hr. near-shore passage in my own boat (Cape May to B.I.) and last year crewed on the return trip from Bermuda aboard Anne Kolker's "Etoile".

What can I bring to your team?

first and foremost - no Ego! No job is beneath me, and I'm a true team player

I'm a capable helmsman, watchstander and cook

I'm familiar with many boat systems and troubleshooting

I'm a registered nurse with ER/Trauma experience and could serve as medical officer

I am willing and able to assist with any and all pre-race preparations

I have completed U.S. Sailing Safety at Sea.

If you are in need of crew I'd love to talk with you.

I can be reached at john.nosach@gmail.com or 401-265-5985
