Maine Train – Cruise North Together
Buzzards Bay to Casco Bay | Arrive August 1
The Maine Train is an informal group cruise for members who want to head north together—sharing the experience, building confidence, and enjoying the journey up the coast.
A small group of boats will meet in Buzzards Bay and travel together to Casco Bay, Maine, with plans flexible based on conditions and group preference.
What to Expect
- A relaxed, collaborative cruise north with other BWSC members
- A pace of 3–5 days, depending on maritime weather
- Daily travel as a loose group—close enough for mutual support, flexible enough for individual preferences
- Occasional small-group dinners ashore when schedules and stops align
This is not a tightly scheduled flotilla—it’s more about traveling in good company and supporting each other along the way.
Who This Is For
The Maine Train is a great fit if you are:
- Making your first trip “Down East”
- Looking for companionship and shared experience during the passage
- Interested in having experienced members nearby as you make the trip north
Whether you stay with the group the entire way or just part of the journey, you’ll benefit from the added confidence of not going it alone.
