Sunday July 27.
From Onset to Scituate 40 miles.
Tide turns from slack to favorable around 6 AM for the canal so plan on an early departure if you’re not at a favorable jumping off point.
Should not be a problem if leaving from Kingman’s or Onset.
This will be the longest leg made longer as I like to stop off and look at the whales.
I’ve got some GPS coordinates for their usual locations NW of PTown but usually confirm looking for Whale Boat excursion boats on my chartplotter.
Hail VHF 09 Cedar Point Launch for a mooring.
Or if you have reciprocal privileges consider the Scituate Yacht Club. Scituate is a good spot for groceries, laundry, pharmacy, liquor, are all steps away from the harbor.
Let's meet up for dinner at Salt in Scituate.
Monday July 28

Gloucester to Portsmouth/Kittery 30 miles
Reserve your mooring at Kittery Point Yacht Yard , or Portsmouth Yacht Club etc.
Hop in your dinghy for Frisbees Wharf on the Pepperell side https://www.pepperrellcove.com/ Portsmouth YC has moorings there. They also have a launch if they put you closer to their their actual yacht club on the Portsmouth side.
Helps to have experienced crew to pick up mooring during peak tidal change.
Very friendly and helpful crew there to help you tie up for refueling if needed.
Wednesday July 30
Kittery to Biddeford Pool or anchor at Richmond Island 40 miles.
Meet for Sundowners and pot luck.
Only restaurant around is takeout. They do have outside tables but no drinking allowed.
Better spot for get together is Biddeford Pool Yacht club. Don’t arrive with an empty tank. If they still sell fuel it’s at the highest prices I’ve ever encountered.
Thursday July 31

Dinner at Dockside Grill https://www.thedocksidegrill.com/
This stop has been suggested due to good services and reprovisioning potential.

Why tie down the itinerary too tightly at this point?

Pot Lucks, Sundowner’s, lunch stops, explore, excitement.
